I just attempted to upgrade to 0.92 on a XP Pro box but attempts to run both freshclam and clamd result in a dialog box that says something to the effect of application can't run because of application configuration problem.
Steps taken so far: -uninstalled 0.91-2 -deleted residual \clamav folder -restarted -installed 0.92 using installer -received error on attempt to run freshclam -restarted -error remained -checked and modified .conf files to match settings of the .91-2 files -error remains I find it interesting that the clamav-092.exe file is only 620KB in size compared to the previous clamav-091-2.exe file which weighed in at 2.74MB. I redownloaded clamav-092.exe before starting to be sure I had the whole file. Should I not have uninstalled 0.91? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
