To clarify question 1 - what I am looking form are the forms of messages that can be set over the socket from clamd to an application process - not all the log messages, etc.

Is there a complete list of the messages that clamd can return? I need to parse the responses, so I would like to know what output is possible. 2. When the STREAM mode of access to clamd is used, does clamd recognize the signatures of ZIP and TAR files, etc., and handle them as it would if the file name was passed, or does it just scan the bit stream directly, without unpacking, etc.? Thanks for any help. _______________________________________________ http://lists.clamav.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clamav-win32 _______________________________________________ http://lists.clamav.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clamav-win32
