I'd like to see 'clapf -V'

You have to see '--with-store=fs' in its output. Also clapf has to know
about the user. His email address must be in your ldap directory in either
the 'mail' or 'mailAlternateAddress' attributes. And as usual, a
verbosity=5
maillog always helps to figure out what clapf does under the hood.
