Thanks Scott! The fixes are looking good. Unfortunately I have some
patches for the affected packages sitting around here which in some
cases should've fixed your problems. Sorry for the duplicated work. I'll
kick myself in the belly and commit this stuff and then merge in the
remaining pieces from your patch, ok?
