Hello! This is a little long.. very sorry... I promise that the next patches will be shorter...
I'll take a bit of time before committing (and need to prepare the changelog too). This is the configure patch we have discussed plus code for the gstreamer based Audio File Readers (there is also some code I'm working on that is not actually used, but is needed to build the patch, lots of "null" returning methods etc..). The Streamed version has still few problems, the file based one works well (at least from my tests). I strongly suggest to leave it as "disabled by default", unless you want to help me on testing/debugging it. Ah... Optimizations are still on TODO (yeah, I know, it is really pretty much a work in progress, but if I don't commit this, I'll end up with 20.000 lines of code to manage :)...
