It's not documented, but I don't think that connect(SocketAddress) should time out.
Surely anyone who wants a timeout should use connect(SocketAddress endpoint, int timeout)
If you connect by your self you can choose the connect method with timeout as a param, but when you connect with a URL, i think you can't!
