I couldn't find "ifnotplaintext" in google, and I couldn't find it in `info texinfo` using 'i ifnotplaintext' either.
Tomorrow I'll try installing the latest texinfo (4.7) and see if that fixes things.
I checked in Google again and ifnotplaintext turned up a link to texinfo 4.2. My apologies (I used exactly the same textbox entry, so I really don't know what happened).
So I guess Classpath should now mark texinfo-4.2 as a dependency.
For Classpath people: when trying to build sablevm-classpath with recent changes, makeinfo was telling me it didn't understand @ifnotplaintext, and my texinfo version was 4.1.
