I've never seen the above, but I keep getting:

(:26130): Gdk-WARNING **: gdkdrawable-x11.c:912 drawable is not a pixmap
or window

Instead of a window being displayed :-(

Unpacking the boot class path makes no difference.  The tests I ran
work nicely with 1.1.6-6, so I suspect latest merge of code from
GNU CP CVS (10th October) might have broken it?

Cc:ing classpath ML, maybe our AWT-masters can give us a hand?
