Cvs update done. For this test, I did run imageviewer with the '-noflicker' option, which should disable the JTree updating and painting and the JTree-related problems. Showing the menu indeed seems a little bit faster, but I am pretty certain it is much slower than it was in classpath 0.18. Is there an easy way to trace what JComponents receive repainting requests (clip-regions included)? (Note: Image loading and scaled image drawing itself should be fast enough, and the image viewer was surprisingly useful with 0.18 under jamvm.
