I've had a report from one of our support staff of the agent installer thowing
up "Winsock Error" on Vista 32-bit unless UAC is turned off. There are also
rumours of problems on XP, but I don't yet have details

Subject: [CLEANACCESS] 4.1.3 Agent Issues

I'm having a couple of issues with the 4.1.3 agent post upgrade.

1) When I attempt to install the agent (either fresh or upgrade) on a
Vista machine it stalls at "Status" on the installer. This happens on both 32 &
64 bit Vista.

2) All my other enforced role-requirements seem to lock up the agent after
logging in on XP machines. If they are disabled then everything logins in fine.

Anyone have any ideas? I didn't see anything in the release notes related to
either of these issues.
