What does a failed SP3 check look like? Is there a particular critical update
version number KBXX associated with it that normal checks would not pass?

We have not seen any complaints yet but wanted to be prepared for implementing
the manual solution discussed in this thread once we see 'signs' of SP3.

Thanks
Muhammad/.

I think all that does is stop the automated Windows Update client from
installing it. Users who already installed it manually will still fail.

What about this option???

What if one were to uncheck the "Upgrade to Latest OS Service Pack" checkbox???

Does this allow both SP2 & SP3 a successful Clean Access Audit???

There is always more than one way to do something, but this works for me...
Once Cisco adds the check for SP3, I can back out the other stuff...

You have to modify the update requirement you're using to check for it. Right
now mine checks for either full compliance of the Cisco check OR SP3 installed
via that check.

So where does this get applied and how do you set it up so that if you have SP3
it authorizes it and if not default back to SP2.
