All, Miami University has recently implemented SSO (single sign-on) in combination with secured wireless access via 802.1x authentication in our residence halls. Although our initial testing has been promising we are curious about what issues others may have seen in implementing this solution. Most notably we are concerned with the amount of time that it is taking for the local CCA (Cisco Clean Access) client to retrieve authentication data from the Radius servers. So to those of you who have implemented this solutions, what have been typical SSO login times using 802.1x once the CCA window appears that indicates CCA is "performing automatic login for remote user"? Any input you can provide will be helpful.
Thanks! David McIntosh Miami University
