I have run it on a VM based linux box. Getting the initial install to run took a bit, but it runs fine. I have had no issues. There are even people running Clean Access Servers (CAS) on VMs. Considering what The CAS does to Ethernet that amazes (and frightens) me, but they say it works fine. Cisco MOST EMPHATICALLY does NOT support it. So, if you have them remote to your CAM while running on a VM it is Wise not to mention that. I'm just saying that as an observation, I am not admitting to how anything runs at my site. BTW, even though they don't support it, Cisco training material, and Cisco approved training material uses VMs. Daniel Sichel, CCNP, MCSE,MCSA,MCTS (Windows 2008) Network Engineer Ponderosa Telephone (559) 868-6367
