This probably won't apply in your situation but we experienced the same 
symptoms a few months back but it had nothing to do with Clean Access.  Our 
Trapeze wireless system (pre 7.x release) used a proprietary communications 
protocol between the AP and the controller.  When we placed our campus 
Intrushield box (layer 7 firewall) in line we noticed these symptoms on most 
but not all clients.  Removing the firewall and then upgrading our wireless 
system to a version that used industry standard protocols solved the problem.

CCA 4.1.3.1 CAM/CAS, Real IP Gateway, In-Band. Client using web browser
(not web agent) to login, gets message redirecting to, then nothing
happens, eventually times out. Client is picking up an IP address from
the CAS, gateway and DHCP server look fine, not being blocked by CCA.
Does not happen to all clients, OS doesn't seem to matter, happening to
XP and Vista, not sure about Macintosh. Agent is NOT loaded at this
point, client must get redirected to login web, pass authentication,
then presented with link to download agent. Appears to be a problem on
the client, I cannot reproduce the problem by putting my machine in the
problem VLAN, XP or Vista?
