First off, I want to let everyone know that we have not been heavy into clean
access until very recently. Now, I have a need to "adjust" the "update" timers.

I am wondering how the updates really work. For instance - our server is set
to check Cisco every 4 hours for "updates". Does this mean that if M$ releases
a critical patch at 2pm EST, that by 6pm EST, my clients will fail to work if
they don't have it?

I think I have seen in the manager the ability to adjust the time on a
anti-virus definition to be x # of days old, but what about the updates from
Microsoft?

Thanks in advance for the info!
