Hi Just before Christmas we upgraded our servers (HA pairs) from 4.1.3 to 4.1.6. We had already upgraded our agents to 4.1.7, so we left that alone. Since then, a lot of people (Vista and XP users) have been reporting getting "The application experienced an internal error loading the SSL libraries [12157]" and being stuck in the temporary role. This has been reported a number of times on this list in the past, and it's also mentioned on a number of university help sites for Clean Access, but with a wide variety of fixes. It appears to be a WinInet error: MSDN documents it at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa385465(VS.85).aspx. It's intermittent - you generally don't get it twice running - so I can't reproduce it easily. I'm now planning to revert to 4.1.3, because we never had it reported with that. I haven't raised it with Cisco because I need a fix this week, but does anyone else have any better ideas?
