Hi Everyone,

I have seen this strange problem once before and it happened again today.  A 
user had been added to the filter list 2 days ago and everything was working 
fine.  Today, the user says the CCA window pops up and asks for her 
credentials.  When she entered them, the agent showed "Successfully logged in 
temporary role" and then (even though the user did not logout) the window shows 
"Logged out successfully" and the login box pops up again.  When the agent is 
uninstalled, the user is taken to the web login page and after logging in, is 
redirected to the agent download page.

This all happens in about 15-20 seconds.  The CAS is in band.  The device 
filter for this user was given the role "student" (which is what is typically 
given and works fine).  I tried changing it to ALLOW and that did not make a 
difference.  One of the IT Staff members tried adding her to the certified 
device list as an exception and then removed her when it didn't work.  

This is at a remote campus, so I can't actually "see" anything, except from the 
CAM and talking to the remote IT person.

The only way I could get the student on the network was to create a static ip 
and add the single ip with the /32 under Filtersà Subnets

 

If anyone has seen this before or has any ideas/suggestions I would really 
appreciate it!
