NOTE: Message re-sent due to Listserv rejection notice.

We just received the following link in a notice from Cisco.

_of_life_notice_c51-504405.html

They have officially announced the end-of-life for Cisco Clean Access software
only.

What are you guys planning to do?

Here at Liberty University, we are migrating to Aruba ECS (Bradford CM) layer 3
solution from CCA 3.1.2.1 In-Band & Out-of-Band virtual gateway. Since we have
a large network, this first week of classes has been a challenge, but Bradford
support was able to give us three custom patches within a week.

It seems we always find the big bugs :(

Another option is to move to the NAC appliances. Support is also a large
consideration. I believe that Aruba's support for ECS is about 1/3 the price of
Cisco's.

Contact me off list for more information.

Thanks,

Bruce Osborne
