Upgraded wireless to CCA 4.1.8 from 4.1.3.1 this weekend, went pretty well.
Will be upgrading the Residence Halls on Thursday. I need to replace the CAM
certificates, currently using Perfigo CA. Anyone using
http://certs.ipsca.com/PRODUCTS/pricing.asp I've used these in the past, but
had to move off them for some reason, don't recall why? Using Go Daddy
certificates on the CAS. The Go Daddy certificates are dual-purpose
(client/server), which leads to my real question. Is a dual-purpose certificate
"required" for the CAM? I know Cisco recommends it. I have opened a support
ticket with ipsCA and inquired if their certificate is dual-purpose. Looking at
the web site it looks to be SSL Server only? Nice to know if someone is using
them in a production environment...

>From the 4.1.8 release notes:

Starting from release 4.1(6), Cisco strongly recommends obtaining dual-purpose
CA-signed
certificates for your production CAMs/CASs to enable them to act as both SSL
clients and SSL
servers.

Thanks, Howard
