I opened a ticket with Cisco TAC and this is their response:

"A colleague of mine is working on the same issue with another customer.
She has filed a bug on this, CSCsy63500. It is new bug so it will take
a couple days for it to be publicly visible. In short, 16.2 worked and
   16.5 does not."

"At this time, there is no ETA. I will update you as I have
   information.
Your Cisco account team can get information on your behalf. If you have
time and the NIS16.5 client installed, we can setup a webex session to
   review and implement checks."

So it is officially considered a bug with CCA. The technician working with
me on this issue would like to establish a remote webex session while I
have a computer with NIS 2009 installed so we can work on creating a manual
check. I am waiting on a copy of NIS 2009 in order to do so.

Wondering if anyone else was noting failures on Norton Internet Security
version 16.x? There seems to have been an update (16.2.xx to 16.5.xx) in
this products' version and NAC/CCA no longer appears to be able to
determine
Virus Definition File Version and Date (see below), at least in the cases
I've seen. (CAM 4.1.3.1/Agent 4.1.8.0).

We provide SAVCE as our standard distribution but attempt to provide best
effort support to our students who want to purchase and install their own
anti-virus products.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Terry
