I didn't see it in your list of troubleshooting steps, but did you make sure that the date/time on the computer is correct. We get certificate revocation errors every so often and the issue is almost always incorrect time. The only other time we had it was when a student thought they would be more secure by deleting all of their trusted root certificates......LOL
