Unfortunately, we are pretty locked in with all of the purchases of appliances that we've made over the years. Guess we don't get the idea of a sunk cost. We got excited when Cisco Product Manager said they would be more responsive on the listserv a while ago. However, seems like they're still very slow to release updates. At least they could create a easy way for us to share our own custom checks and rules (simple file sharing, trusted community repositories, etc.) so we could help support each other. -----Original Message----- From: Cisco Clean Access Users and Administrators [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Chris T. Norton 15 (2008) and 16 (2009) only work if they do not have the large . 5 patch applied if they do they fail if not they work. Patch refrence from Symantec is here: http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message? board.id=nis_feedback&thread.id=41208 Avg 8.0 works fine with no custom check both paid and free. Avg 8.5 does not work. There is a bug open in ciscos database CSCsy21096 CCA doesn't detect AVG 8.5 version. There is a fix checked in and its staus is marked as "Fixed-In Release-Pending". I really wish they would release it already. Im the college setting many students opt for the free antivirus products. Tom Stachowiak D'Youville College
