Hi Richard:

The release notes for 4.1.10 agent have some newer AV versions than 4.5.1
and Cisco removed some AV versions from 4.5.1

Doug Chudzik posted this info about Norton 16.5 not working with 4.1.8 agent
and others also complained about Norton 16, so I assume there is a problem
with 4.5.1. We also need free AVG 8.5 detection as well, ok with 4.1.10
(posted by Isabelle Graham) not with 4.5.1.

I would like to know what version (4.1.8 or 4.5.1) other NAC administrators
are using for comparison.

Ken,

We have 4.1.8/4.5, and definitely have the problems you describe. Last
Wednesday, I submitted my whines to the group, but haven't received any
replies to this point. Do you have reason to believe that agent 4.1.10.0
would be better?

Hello all:

We have just required two NAC3350 servers and I am tying to decide to use
4.1.8 with agent 4.1.10.0 or 4.5.1. 4.5.1 appears scary with its AVG and
Norton detection problems and some open caveats. Any feedback would be
helpful.

Thanks, Ken
