There are no similarities between machines. I finally figured this one out. It
happens when the Automatic Updates service is disabled at Control Panel ->
Administrative Tools -> Services (NOT Control Panel -> Automatic Updates).

Thanks for all suggestions!

Any similarities between the machines? Such as all XP's, Vista's, 2000's, Hp's,
Dells, certain vlan, switch their attaching to, ect. Also those that are in the
restricted access later what do their reports look like once their restricted,
and what do the reports look like for those that are succefully logging in?

I did not try to bounce these users. But for these users, some of them are
showing as successfully login later, some are logged in with "restricted
access" by clicking Limited button and some are showing the same logs
repeatedly.

I would be curious, what happens when you bounce the users from the system and
force them to redo their login and clean access's checks? Same report come
back?

I get that same problem, no reported errors as a result. Makes me think the
check isn’t actually being done and lets them through anyway.

Subject: CCA WSUS Requirement Report Error (Failed to find Windows updates)

We just enabled WSUS requirement today. So far the only issue is some user
reports are showing error like this:

Windows Updates Checking ( Mandatory )

• Passed Checks:
• Failed Checks:
• Not executed Checks:
• Information: Failed to find Windows updates
• Description: Missing Windows updates: 0

I have seen about 30 users with such report. But no one called in for help yet.

Has anyone seen this issue?

Thanks.
