Hi Steve, Not much of a Linux person but I will give it a try. I can just re-install again if necessary.
Thanks! If so, please read this: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6128/products_qanda_item09186a00803b7a9f.shtml to determine how access a Linux shell on this device. I believe the designation of ETH0 and ETH1 is immaterial, so long as you have the correct IP Address on the corresponding interface. I have now re-installed at least 6 times (4.1.8) and eth0 and eth1 are switched. I cannot just switch the network cables because one is a fiber card and the other is the onboard NIC. Usually when I have this problem, I can just re-install again and it works. I cannot make a TAC request because we have ended our maintenance contract. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
