Yes, we've had luck with turning off the 'autofill' setting on the ipads.

Subject: iPad login issues

We are seeing issues where iPads appear to be unable to process the NAC 
login screen.  This is without any posture assessment or enforcement. 
They are unable to complete the basic login process.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
