Hi there I am currently designing an internationalization util (for apps based on apache clerezza) as addition to the language service. For that I am searching for an ontology and existing data based on this ontology (country name, postal codes, currency etc.)
I think of using http://www.geonames.org/ontology (see: http://www.geonames.org/ontology/documentation.html) because data based on this ontology is also free available (see http://download.geonames.org/export/dump/ or as rdf http://download.geonames.org/all-geonames-rdf.zip [400MB - unzipped 10Gb]) Are there any other suggestions which ontology to use? In Apache Clerezza VCARD and DCTERMS are available which has some of the necessary information - but not all of them. I am interested in an ontology which also has data about all countries etc free available. Cheers Tsuy
