+1 for proposal A Actually, the three 'arches' in the logo symbolizes the Swiss mountains. As 'Clerezza' means 'Clarity' in a local language (Rumantsch) this is a very reduced link to that.
Why 'Clerezza'? Because using Semantic Web technologies help us to bring clarity to the massive amount of unstructured and fast growing web data. It's like in old times when British people came to Switzerland in order to breathe fresh and clear air while usually living in a cloud of fog at home. I rather prefer proposal A as the logo is cleaner and less like a Brasilian carneval. Although I like the RDF colours I think we don't need another logo using the same colour again. Bearing in mind that Apache Stanbol already uses RDF colours. Many thanks to the unknown? people for contributing their work towards the initiative. (visual + virtual design GmbH) has designed 2 logo proposals for apache clerezza (attachments in issue CLEREZZA-444, https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLEREZZA-444). There are different text alignments available depending on the purpose (Website, T-shirt etc). Proposal B contains the 3 colors from the semantic web logo (http://semanticweb.org/images/Semantic-Web-Logo-by-W3C.png) Which one do you prefer? Please vote. [ ] +1 Accept logo proposal A or B (please add your choice to the vote, e.g. +1 A) [ ] 0 Don't care [ ] -1 None of them are acceptable Cheers tsuy
