OutOfMemoryError and NullPointerException. It's not obvious to me that these
are related to loading the xerces classes. Certainly nothing in the traceback
indicates a relation to xerces or XML parsing. Are you sure the cause isn't
something else that's just co-incident with having applied the patch?
