hey,

i'm still pushing for preparations for helping the vets come home.
the work of heinz stark, who is using the work of burt hellinger.
the book i recommend is called: Love's Hidden Symmetry.
what hellinger found was a way to work with groups of persons.
at a session, one person is the worker who offers the story of
what relationship trouble s/he wants help in. the main person comes
into the circle and others come to stand in relation to the main person
as the trouble is made visible. what has been found is that the persons
who are standing in the positions of the others in the main character's life
feel the same emotions. for example, if my friend is far from me at the edge
of the circle, the person in the position of my friend feels the emotions of
that position and can speak about it.

as he works, he works to find the constellation that represents what he
calls, "the Order of Love". what makes this style helpful for what we
are going to face is that what becomes visible as the problem is discussed
are all the persons no longer present, namely, the dead. at the end you
Love's Hidden Symmetry, there are several sessions where the main character
slowly brings into the circle all her dead relatives who died in
nazi death camps. what first looked like marriage trouble, turns out to be a
trouble with the dead.

in western psychological work, there are few techniques that allow
for the dead to be present and speak to the living like this particular one.
i invite you to educate yourselves in this work, perhaps we can consider
getting this kind of training for persons in this circle. or maybe
someone has already been trained and now it's time to bring what
you have learned to become a resource for all of us.
