I did some googling but couldn't find a real answer...
why does CLFS use x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu as the target?
gentoo uses x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
I found something about it having to do with multilib stuff but CLFS uses it for both multilib _and_ pure64
