2.4 : export LFS=/mnt/lfs
it is assumed that the file system is mounted under /mnt/lfs
Choose a mount point and assign it to the LFS  environment

4.1 : Throughout this book, the environment variable LFS will be used
several times.
Make sure the output shows the path to the CLFS partition's mount point,
which is /mnt/lfs

an example of bash expansion :
chown -v clfs $CLFS{sources,tools,cross-tools}

an example of a good script :
sorry i don't have this but the root work may be automated idem for
download to patch etc ...
