What exactly does it say about why it cannot start /sbin/init?
It says nothing. If I build static /sbin/init natively from LFS LiveCD I can see it's starting.
Try to pass the "init=/tools/bin/bash" option to the kernel upon boot to use /tools/bin/bash rather than /sbin/init. For example linux root=/dev/hda1 init=/tools/bin/bash
I thought about it but rather then looking for this option I removed everything and started with LFS 6.2. -- Alexander Nasonov http://nasonov.blogspot.com http://alnsn.livejournal.com _______________________________________________ Clfs-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.cross-lfs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clfs-dev
