I was wondering how one would go about posting a patch to CBLFS. If
the patch is somewhere like
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/svn/, then all you have
to do is post the link to it. But what if you were to come up with a
patch yourself? If it's for CLFS or BLFS, obviously the editors are
able to post them on their respective sites, but I don't know if the
same can be said of CBLFS.

There is an "Upload file" link in CBLFS that might work. The
instructions give the impression that it's meant primarily for images,
but it might work for holding a patch file. In that case however, I
wouldn't have a clue how to access the file, since in the case of an
image you would link to it with [[Image:File.jpg]] and in the case of
a media file, you would link to it with [[Media:File.ogg]]. But how
would you do that with a patch file? [[Txt:File.patch]]?

I would hope that someone on the clfs-dev list knows the preferred way
to get patches onto CBLFS. The only way that I can see to do it
myself is via the "Upload File" link in CBLFS, but it would not
suprise me if it was preferred that patches specific to CBLFS be put
in the patches section in CLFS or if there is a patches directory
buried in CBLFS somewhere.

I have a patch for Libmng which should make installing it somewhat
saner. I'd like to post it, but as I have made clear, I don't know
how. I would appreciate it if someone were to enlighten me. Thanks.
