I've been experimenting with eglibc for the last 48 hours here's what I
see the build changes.
No more Patches
I have a script that creates a CLFS specific download.
http://www.cross-lfs.org/~jim has the tarballs
Changes to the build in Cross-Tools
1 Remove all Patches
2 Before creating the build directory add
sed -i 's/-lgcc_eh//g' Makeconfig
3 add --with-newlib to the configure line
Changes to build in Final System
1 Remove all Patches
Other Updates used. Updated Zlib Patch, in the patches repo
zlib-1.2.3-fPIC-2.patch
