I was just wondering if anyone was able to help point me in a direction with
this (below)?
This impass has halted me setting up my system :(
A little further detail is that i am running from the book dated 10102009 and
notice a newer one 15102009 has beenreleased, but it does not appear to have
any significant changes prior to where I am now.

When I run the check for gcc I seem to get a number of Error lines as follows:

Again any help would be appreciated. I would add I have had no errors with
