Doh!...thanks William...I saw that option but clearly hadn't considered it..
...(I'll go out to the backyard later and headbutt the tree a few times ;)
The previous patch version (arts-1.5.9-fix_mmx-1.patch) still applies
cleanly to arts-1.5.10 and results in a clean build when using --enable-final
I guess I should add that to the wiki....?....you'll need futz the patchfile...
