This occurs with every 32 bit build as well, x86, ppc .....
We have test-suite logs people can compare with, since this is in the
lfs-dev archive,
people will have the link given to the patch when they see this thread
in the mailing list.
This should be fixed in the next kmod release, in which case, may skip
the patch in the book.

As long as people can find the answer, I'm happy. And it is an issue
with the test code, not the kmod code itself, so the patch isn't
necessary for a successful build.
