has no need of bison and flex before it is built.....
However, that doesn't help if m4 can't be ran by the host system, either.
I think we should set the path so that it is just M4 and not hardcoded.

What ever way feels right, agree with you let it find m4 depending on
PATH settings as that seems cleaner to me
