Hi, I am ready to give up on Firefox and OpenOffice. I have an AMD Pure64 system, with X 7.1 and Kde 3.5.2 but no way of opening .doc's other than dchroot, which works, but I feel that is a serious work-around. Does anyone have the time to write a bit on how to get firefox and openoffice to complile, please.
