you probably didn't enable the 8x16 font for the framebuffer console.

It took me quite a while to figure out how to enable vga (I finally had to enable vga through frame buffering) since I could never get it to simply let me enable vga for the console. Oh well. At least it finally works. I was afraid that some aspect of X let you get the decent resolution in spite of the fact that you wouldn't be running an X Server at that point. Fortunately that's not the case. Thanks for your help. - Jonathan Davis _______________________________________________ Clfs-support mailing list [email protected] http://lists.cross-lfs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clfs-support
