Hi and good afternoon Jim!
Nope, I followed completely the book without deviations; this one from
coreutils seems really a stupid thing in the sense that opening the
files with gedit the lines in base64{c,h} are split in this way
(example from base64.h):
extern void base64_encode (const char *restrict in, size_t
inlen,
char *restrict out, size_t
outlen);
btw: net-tools problem solved without applying header-patches...
