 It would do, it's for multilib.  I thought it still gave trouble
with savage and ffbs, maybe I'm unnecessarily stopping it from
building those.  Maybe there is something else influencing my
builds, but I don't have the hardware for either of those drivers,
so I'm not concerned.

 There are a number of different files in the configs/ directory,
one per target, so plenty of scope for building it differently (e.g.
for nv on ppc I have to build 'linux' instead of 'linux-dri', I've
no idea whether that does anything useful (other than letting me run
a very slow glxgears using a lot of cpu).
