Well, personally, if  I want to use a word processor (as opposed to latex
with vim), I'm going to use Adobe's Framemaker which currently doesn't have
a linux version.  Other than that it's mostly games that I'd worry about,
but games are likely to work better with Cedega than Wine.  Wine isn't
perfect by any means - and I'd prefer not to need it - but periodically it
comes in handy.

Hello,
          Talk like this have started worrying me. I have built CLFS pure64
on my AMD Athlon64.
I wanted to use it for programming, entertainement,net surfing system.(No
server except those required for programming eg. MySQL and likes.) I am
going to install the application from the  sources as much as I can. Do I
need to rebuild my system as multilib?
