Hi Maarten,

sorry for the late answer, having to work and spending time building linux
systems seems to be a difficult task at hand :P

I'm using the LFS LiveCD, version x86-6.3-pre1, loaded with options: linux64
vga=795
target triplet at first boot is i486-pc-linux-gnu and, after the machtype
transformation, it becomes i486-cross-linux-gnu

kernel version as stated from the uname -r command is: 2.6.18.3-64bit

Hope this helps,
Julio
