Never mind. My mistake. I confused linux header file with kernel file. Using the correct file made the error gone and it compiled. Sorry for the inconvenience.

On a brand new AMD 64 X2 Athlon 4200+ I'm giving a shot to CLFS svn-20070913-x86_64-Pure64 with the intention of keep it as a host for future cross-compiling. Current host is LiveCD x86-6.3-r2052 booted as linux64. When configuring Glibc I got this error, checking installed Linux kernel header files... TOO OLD! configure: error: GNU libc requires kernel header files from Linux 2.0.10 or later... <snip> I tried twice from scratch following the book exactly and got same result. $CLFS_HOST= i486-cross-linux-gnu $CLFS_TARGET= x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu $BUILD32= <blank> $BUILD64= -m64 Any help is greatly appreciated Alonso
