The problem is that you're host and target triplets are the same.
CLFS_HOST is set to the proper value. CLFS_TARGET should be
i486-pc-linux-gnu. This *might* cause that problem. Restart the build
with CLFS_TARGET equal to i486-pc-linux-gnu.
