I'm having a little trouble cross-compiling fcron for a 486-compatible
AMD from a P2. How can I set up things in the configure file so that
binaries aren't dumped onto my development platform? Even if I change
targets like bindir, sbindir, and so on, I can't then copy the binaries
to the target platform and expect them to work; the directories they
point to are all wrong.
I realize that this is probably a simple question, but I'm pretty new to
LFS *and* to cross-compilation. Thank you for any help you might lend,
even if it's to an elementary guide that will teach me how to
cross-compile as I ought to.
