can somebody explain a little question?
when i use the ping program from inetutils package to check a host in my
network and the host is down, then ping waits until the host came up
but when i use ping for testing this behavior is not acceptable.
and in some google sessions i found some ping manuals with options that
are not included to my ping program. (e.g. -W for timeout or -b for
broadcast ping)
has anyone a solution for me?
