I'm having a problem setting up the configuration for Binutils-2.17 as per the
instructions in CLFS 1.0.0.
CLFS_HOST="i386-cross-linux-gnu"
CLFS_TARGET="i686-pc-linux-gnu
The command is:
../binutils-2.17/configure --prefix=/cross-tools \ --host=${CLFS_HOST}
--target=${CLFS_TARGET}
--with-lib-path=/tools/lib \ --disable-nls --enable-shared --disable-multilib
The message is:
configure: warning: --host=i386-cross-linux-gnu: invalid host type
configure:error: can only configure for one host and one target at a time
